Job Description :
This Senior Financial Analyst will assist in the management of all foreign exchange activities. Foreign exchange activity responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
(1) executing foreign exchange contracts to hedge the corporation's exposure to movements in foreign exchange rates
(2) the tracking of and reporting on outstanding foreign exchange contracts and the related underlying exposures using foreign exchange trade capture and accounting software, and
(3) calculating the accounting results for the foreign exchange transactions in accordance with and ensuring compliance with ASC 815, Accounting for Derivative Instruments and Hedging Activities (Formerly FAS 133)
(4) partner with software vendor to maintain trade capture and ASC 815 accounting software and implement upgrades as required
(5) assist in developing foreign exchange exposure mitigation strategies and educating the business units in foreign currency exposure recognition and hedging basics.

Position's strategy development responsibilities will include developing excel based financial models to incorporate foreign exchange forward points and foreign exchange spot and forward point volatility risk into corporate contract pricing. Senior Financial Analyst will document, implement and maintain internal controls for all job functions in compliance with SOX.

As needed, position will assist in Capital Markets activities, which may include assisting in the management of the corporate share repurchase program and the execution of all debt related and interest rate risk management transactions.

This job will serve to build a knowledge base and skill set that will be valuable for future positions not only in Treasury but also in areas such as business unit program finance, international or corporate accounting.

Basic Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a financial or treasury related field
-Demonstrated effective accounting and/or treasury background
-Advanced level proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
-Demonstrated understanding of corporate finance to include experience with NPV cash flow analysis
- Analytical skills related to business financials

Desired skills
.-CPA and/or MBA or Masters with financial orientation
-Demonstrated effective analytical and communication skills (both verbal and written)
-Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with business unit staff
-Self-motivated, self-managing
-Ability to multi-task and ability to perform under pressure
-Previous specific experience in the foreign exchange markets and international accounting
-Previous experience in the accounting for foreign exchange transactions and derivative transactions
