Job Description :
The Cyber Security Engineer is responsible for coordinating with program development IPTs to ensure that the overall F-35 Air Systems and ground systems are developed to meet security requirements according to secure principles. This OMS/AV Sustainment Technical Lead will ensure that the AS systems are designed, developed, sustained, and documented to support required security Certification (A&A) efforts. This engineer will also serve as a coordination point for Cyber Security topics that span multiple IPT boundaries and will frequently convene and mediate technical working groups involving a broad spectrum of program IPTs and interests. Provide system security requirements allocation to design IPT’s consistent with IPT design concepts, architectures, modes, levels, interfaces, etc.

Candidate will provide expert, independent application of engineering skills and leadership in specialized technical areas. Candidate will provide Cyber Security expertise as-needed to all task assignments and expert guidance and assistance in system security of state-of-the-art software/hardware systems. In addition, candidate will coordinate with suppliers and Government personnel to ensure that requirements are properly defined, decomposed, and allocated and that the solution will satisfy Government requirements.

Lead, generate, and maintains the guidance criteria for software tools integrated into system software and system build environments; analyzes software requirements; contributes during requirements and design reviews; reviews high and low-level software design documentation; develops software guideline updates, creates A&A plans for software implementation, and integration of software into system and build environments. Give direction to engineers and work with individuals from various software development and IA groups.

Must be a US citizen. This position requires special access and the candidate must be able to obtain a security clearance.

Basic Qualifications
Experience with two or more of the following standards: RMF/JSIG, Common Criteria, NSTISSIP 11, DoD8500.1, DoD8500.2.
Experience with security architecture concepts such as TCB, security communications.
Experience with application of STIGs and analysis of results, creation and evaluation of A&A evidence, or complex networked computer systems.
Bachelors degree in an engineering/technical discipline required.

Desired skills
Experience with F-35 Missions Systems, NIST RMF processes, and application of STIGs and analysis of results.
One or more of the following certifications: Security +, CISSP, CAP, CISM, CISA, CASP. Expertise in networked computer security concepts, architectures, technology, capabilities, for information systems, and systems engineering concepts and application.
Experience in: F-35 Air Systems, cyber security, penetration testing, vulnerability analysis, encryption concepts, Multi-Level Security systems.
