Job Description :
Establishes and delivers technical training programs targeted on the maintenance, repair, and operation of aircraft, aircraft systems, ground equipment, tools, and test equipment. Serves as a SME to assist assigned programs in determining training needs and developing required training. Conducts training needs analyses and develops curriculum that is designed to enable sustained behavioral change and achievement of program, international client or business area priorities. Prepares training plans and produces materials for technical instruction. Establishes training solutions to support mission critical Aeronautics’ projects. Maintains currency in technical developments and training methodologies including technical contracts, orders and specifications. Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders, domestically and/or internationally to create optimized learning solutions. Represents the organization by providing innovative solutions to difficult manufacturing issues aligned with specific program, international client and/or business area needs. Drives lateral connectivity and collaboration within HR and across the enterprise. Delivers data-driven learning solutions that are efficient, effective, and flexible. Creates, supports and rewards an agile learning environment that enables innovation, inclusion and leadership

• Plans and delivers aircraft advanced finish systems training programs for factory production employees and field support personnel.
• Conducts training and develops criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities.
• Executes and maintains company-wide training programs as well as the maintenance of a company-wide training and qualification record system.
• Responsible for instilling and maintaining process discipline through classroom instruction and lab sessions.
• Maintains currency in technical developments, technical training, and audiovisual techniques including the maintenance of applicable courseware.
• Interfaces with supervisors to determine training and certification requirements for assigned personnel and make recommendations to supervision/management for de-certification due to substandard performance and/or the inability to complete assigned tasks within established time parameters.
• May revise lesson plans to keep technical information up to date and meet new training requirements.
• May perform data analysis and gather information for new training; prepare and maintain training materials; and coordinate the development of new training materials and training aids.
• May coordinate training content with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
• May analyze current operating problems and future operating requirements to identify training needs and develop training programs

Basic Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in advanced aircraft finishing systems.
• Experience in paint facility or manufacturing shop operations, surface
preparation, masking, fastener and gap fill applications, fairing, bonding,
applying finishes to required thicknesses and Finishes/Engineering Drawings.
• Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office or similar programs for
writing, editing, and producing materials for technical instruction

Desired skills
• 2+ years of instructional experience
• Experience in Low Observables
• Experience in Composites
• Comprehensive knowledge in aircraft finish systems, particularly related to
military fighter aircraft
• Strong verbal and written skills
• Strong Computer skills.
