Job Description :
This is a Reliability Engineering position that will provide support to the Apache Program. Main roles includes:
• Ability and willingness to learn Built-In-Test (BIT) design
• Monitoring FRACAS trends to identify System BIT improvements
• Analysis of wire-code (WC) procedures.
• Develop, coordinate and conduct technical reliability studies & evaluations of engineering design
• Compile and analyze performance reports and process control statistics; investigate and analyze relevant variables potentially affecting product and processes and as necessary, proposes changes in design or formulation to improve system and/or process reliability.
• Performance of Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA).

This job entails identifying and resolving electromechanical technical issues and hardware/software integration. Responsible for troubleshooting technical problems and issues, determine technical solution in accordance with product and customer specifications, analyze data to identify failure trends and recommending actions to company or customer representatives for coordinative product solution. Responsibilities include interacting with subcontractors, report writing, white paper writing, software/hardware integration/trouble shooting, FRACAS, Engineering Screening Board (ESB), Engineering Change Board (ECB), Failure Review Boards (FRB), and Directors Capital Review Board (DCRB). Recognize opportunities for improvement based on failure data. Candidate should have practical hands on experience with hardware/software and troubleshooting. Interact with engineers, subcontractors, program managers and customers during the investigation, documentation and resolution of system/test set failures. Conducts technical training and product briefing with customers, vendors and company representatives.

Orlando is home to the University of Central Florida (UCF), Walt Disney World, and SeaWorld. Where can you get to from Orlando? Orlando is about an hour's drive from Cocoa Beach and the "space coast" to include NASA and the Kennedy Space Center. Tampa is about 1 and ¼ hours from Orlando. West Palm Beach is about 2.5 hours to the south and Jacksonville is about 2 hours to the northeast. Atlanta, GA is 6 hours to the northwest.

Basic Qualifications
•Must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain an Active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
•Bachelor's Degree, preferably in an Engineering Field (BSEE, BSCE, BSET)

•Experience with one or both of the following:
1. Experience identifying Failure Review and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) trends to identify and prioritize failure modes to investigate for corrective actions.
2. Perform Failure Mode and Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA).

•Technical engineering background.
•Understanding of reliability, modeling concepts and reliability tools (e.g. Windchill Quality Solutions (WQS), RELEX, or comparable).
•Possess excellent written and oral communication skills, with experience developing and delivering presentations.
•An analytical thinker with a demonstrated ability of solving complex problems which require ingenuity and innovation.
•Proficient computer skills including the Microsoft suite of applications.
•People skills: assertive, people orientated, motivated, ability to multi-task, self-starter.
•Able to work with all types of disciplines (management, production, engineering, etc.)

Desired skills
•Active Secret Clearance with an investigation within 5 years.
•Strong electrical background with a good mechanical understanding.
•Practical hands on experience with hardware test and troubleshooting.
•System and subsystem test experience to include Test Plan development, completing HALT and accelerated aging testing.
•Experience using WQS/RELEX.
•Experience with statistical analysis, statistical process control and/or statistical software.
•Monitoring FRACAS trends to identify System BIT improvements.
•Testability and/or Maintainability Experience.
