Responsible for managing Material Supportability efforts in support of the Industrial Product-Support Vendor (IPV) Gen III Program with teams and facilities near and on Tinker AFB in Oklahoma City, OK.

Specific responsibilities include:
• Understand and manage material supportability issues for all 49K NSN’s across all three USAF Air Logistics Complex (ALC) on the contract schedule of items.
• Ensure across the three sites that there is ongoing collaborative production planning efforts with the Defense Logistics Agency and the local USAF ALC Maintenance Groups
• Coordinate Demand Planning efforts between LM Demand Planners at all three sites.
• Lead weekly material supportability meetings between LM and DLA to work material challenges required support future production for all three sites
• Assist in the development and operation of the production planning tool required to focus kit builds based on material supportability and customer requirements
• Manage obsolescence issues as required with DLA and the USAF groups at each site
• Ensure material supportability and production planning stay in synch at each site
• Optimize mix of DLA and Commercial sourced items to ensure 100% material supportability

Daily efforts may include the following types of activities:

• Coordination of responses between DLA and LM on long-term material supportability challenges.
• Coordinate forecasts to support mid/long term production requirements.
• Adjust, as required, material buy recommendations for adjustments in customer requirements.
• Monitor and identify supportability challenges across all three sites and optimize levels for common items to ensure priority support is given where required.
• Coordinate expedite requests with DLA and commercial sourcing with a goal of 100% material on hand to support production builds.

Basic Qualifications
• Material Planning/ Material Forecasting experience
• Ability to use MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)
• Experience interfacing directly with government customers
• Experience in demand planning
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
• Detailed and process oriented
• Ability to work with minimal supervision

Desired skills
• IPV experience
• Leadership experience in logistics with a history of supporting depot operations
• Understanding of Warehouse operations
• Strong use and knowledge of Excel
• History of developing and presenting to executive-level leadership
• Focus on building customer confidence and relationship building
• Working knowledge of SCM+ and various government systems such as FEDMALL, eMALL, etc.
• 3 years Material Planning/ Material Forecasting experience focused on advanced data analysis
