Job Description :
This is an opportunity to work on the Labs and Tech Services (L&TS) System Engineering team. L&TS a highly innovative team responsible for developing, testing and maintaining aircraft simulation systems and subsystems utilized for aircraft capability integration and weapons systems development from concept design through production and delivery. Within L&TS resides an extensive collection of systems integration and test capabilities, including low-cost rapid prototyping concept development systems, full-dome handling qualities simulations, high-fidelity multi-ship, real-time, man-in-the-loop simulation systems, Reprogramming Laboratories, and hardware-in-the-loop mission systems and vehicle systems integration venues.

This position is for a Systems Engineering position assigned to the F-35 program team responsible for the development of real-time simulation systems consisting of avionics man-in-loop simulations. The primary set of responsibilities of this position include performing Laboratory system requirements derivation, requirements management and system design development, system integration, system requirements verification, system performance validation, and investigating laboratory anomalies. Responsibilities will be focused on ensuring the logical and systematic conversion of lab customer requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.

Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access and an interim Secret clearance to start.

Basic Qualifications
-Bachelor's degree in a scientific or engineering discipline.
-Experience in performing one or more of the following: system requirements development, system design development, system integration and verification, statistical analysis & validation.

Desired skills
- Knowledgeable using the following Tools DOORS, MatLab.
- Man-in-the-Loop aircraft Simulation Experience.
- Familiarity with aircraft subsystems.
- Experience working in a Laboratory environment
- Has demonstrated software or hardware development experience.
- Strong oral & written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
- Strong work ethic and self-motivation.
