The Flight Test AOG Deputy Assistant Project Manager will support the Flight Test Assistant Program Manager (APM) and program leadership to execute the requirements relating to the CH-53K Flight Test program in Pax River, MD and West Palm Beach, FL. Specifically, the Flight Test AOG DAPM will be part of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) to support the CH-53K program when aircraft are identified as “AOG” or “Aircraft on the Ground” because of technical discovery or a maintenance issue. This leader will be responsible for forecasting and managing flight test inventory demands to minimize AOG occurrence, to develop and analyze flight test AOG metrics, and to execute cross-functional response when the situation does arise. The DAPM will report programmatically to the Assistant Program Manager (APM) of flight test as well as receive guidance from the Program Integrator and Program Director. The Flight Test AOG Deputy Assistant Project Manager will also interface with the CH-53K USG team on a daily basis.

In addition to the AOG execution statement of work, the AOG DAPM will develop processes and procedures to stream-line communication across a multi-site program team. The AOG DAPM will provide operational tempo updates to internal leaders, as well as, to the external customer. This position will require utilization and understanding of earned value principles, as well as, the ability to engage with matrix organizations, including but not limited to, Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, and Program Integration to execute the task on hand.

The Flight Test AOG Deputy Assistant Project Manager will also lead the integration of Modification period support by working closely with the Flight Test Modification Deputy Assistant Project Manager.

Basic Qualifications
Minimum 4 year degree in Business, Engineering or Finance

Desired skills
Minimum 4-5 years of Earned Value Management Experience
Experience on an ACAT 1 Full Earned Value criteria program is a plus
Having an active Secret or better security clearance is a plus

Ability to work and integrate with technical team members to understand all aspects of the product being developed/produced and the earned value implications.
