Job Description :
This position will provide multi-disciplined Information Assurance (IA) and Cyber Security oversight in support of the Marietta Technical Security Organization.

Primary, the candidate will perform tasks of an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) for Special Access Programs (SAP).

The candidate will use their working knowledge of the Joint SAP Implementation Guide (JSIG), National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), the Defense Security Service (DSS) Industrial Security Field Operations (ISFO) Process Manual, the Risk Management Framework (RMF), National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Committee on National Security Systems (CNSS), Intelligence Community Directives (ICD’s), Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Information Guides (STIG), Joint Air Force – Army – Navy (JAFAN) 6/3 and other DoD Customer Security Manuals). Prepare security plans in accordance with company and government standards.

Evaluate information technology security mechanisms and processes against corporate and government regulations to include assessment or certification of technical configurations, consulting as required with information technology architects, administrators, and functional experts who may accomplish the actual engineering, design, and hands-on implementation.

Additionally, the candidate should have knowledge of other security disciplines (CPSO/CSSO) and how they impact and interact with information system security.

Under general guidance from management, collaborate with other business unit and Corporate staff in Security, IT, and line business organizations to develop and implement efficient and appropriate technology, user training, processes, procedures, and compliance programs that are integrated seamlessly with day-to-day operations of IT infrastructure.

Perform day-to-day operations, such as review of audit logs and various monitoring tools for IT systems.

Interface with internal and external entities on all matters related to DSS, DISA and NSA compliance to include Incident Response Plans, Disaster Recovery Plans, IT Support, Contingency of Operations Plan (COOP) and Plan of Action & Milestones (POA&M).

Work with peers in Security to develop, coordinate, publish, and maintain a common body of training materials, standards, directives, policies and procedures to enhance the local security program.

Build strong relationships within the Security organization and IT staff to hone best practices and drive consistency.

Train and consult with fellow employees, who accomplish day-to-day tasks involved with administering and operating classified information systems.

Accomplish certification and accreditation or assessment and authorization support tasks, additionally develop and implement information security procedures for the operation of multiple networked and standalone computers to ensure program information confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

On occasion, work extended hours (other than normal business hours) to support contractual requirements to meet customer needs.

This is a high tempo, multi-tasking and demanding environment that requires customer service, communication and organizational skills.

Accomplish other duties as assigned.

Must be able to work unscheduled hours to support organizational IA/Cyber

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications
•Prior ISSO or ISSM experience

•Experience with Risk Managed Framework (RMF) and
JSIG (or equivalent government directives/instruction)

•Experience with Red Hat, Linux or Data Center

Desired skills
•DoD 8570.01M, IAM Level I certification (Sec +)

•Experience with DD254, security education and
personnel security

•Prior Special Access Program (SAP) experience

•Possess strong written and verbal communications,
interpersonal relations, organizational, troubleshooting
and analytical skills

•Possess the ability to work with multiple customers, and
must be able to build and maintain effective team and
customer relationships

•Demonstrated ability to own a process, perform with
minimal direction and implement best practices for
IA/Cyber tasks
