Job Description :
This position will support the IRST depot engineering team in troubleshooting and evaluating customer fielded hardware at the in-plant depot(s). The role includes coordinating depot activities with a multitude of programs and customers, including developing bids and estimates to support current and new business initiatives. Applicant should be able to interface effectively with multiple functional groups including: production, planning, engineering, quality, contracts/subcontracts, and other logistics and support personnel to achieve completion of depot operation activities. The ability to design, develop, and implement testing and rework procedures to expedite the delivery of repairs is vital to the success of the depot. Should be capable of planning and arranging manpower, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating for all depot repairs."

Orlando is home to the University of Central Florida (UCF), Walt Disney World, and SeaWorld. Where can you get to from Orlando? Orlando is about an hour's drive from Cocoa Beach and the "space coast" to include NASA and the Kennedy Space Center. Tampa is about 1 and ¼ hours from Orlando. West Palm Beach is about 2.5 hours to the south and Jacksonville is about 2 hours to the northeast. Atlanta, GA is 6 hours to the northwest.

Basic Qualifications
-Must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
-Bachelor's degree from an accredited university (preferably in Electrical Engineering / other related field) OR equivalent combination of experience and education.
-Ability to understand schematics, generate rework instructions, and to diagnose faults and troubleshoot hardware.
-Ability to perform electrical measurements and analysis using a variety of tools, measurement, and test equipment (Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzers).
-Fluent with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Power Point, and Excel.

Desired skills
-Experience with troubleshooting Electro-Optic equipment such as Forward Looking Infrared (FLIR) sensors, and electro-mechanical hardware.
-Familiarity with depot level maintenance procedures and repair methods.
-Experience with designing and maintaining tooling, test, and support equipment.
-Excellent verbal and written communication and organization skills
