Littleton, Colorado:
The RF Payloads Center of Excellence is seeking talented, highly motivated RF Systems engineers to join the development and build of the next generation of RF Payloads and Communication Systems. This engineer will be responsible for the development design and analysis of the end-to-end RF systems including payload, antenna and RF components. Responsibilities include:

- Becomes the Certified Principle Engineer responsible for the technical integrity of complex RF Payload Systems hardware for both in-house and supplier builds
- Develop RF/communication payload specifications and flow requirements from RF system level to RF component, antenna and bus subsystems.
- Ensure the hardware meets all requirements and mission objectives
- Perform analysis, modeling and simulation of end-to-end communication systems to verify performance
- Support the build, test and verification of the RF/Communication system
- Responsible for developing and maintaining procurement specifications and interface control documents.
- Works with systems engineering to ensure meeting system level mission requirements for performance and other Technical Performance Measurement (TPM)s.
- Coordinates the review and approval of all contract Subcontractor Data Requirements List (SDRL)s and for acceptance of hardware delivered under the contract.
- Performs or coordinates integration, test and verification events to support system level requirements.
- Provides periodic status to senior program management and customers

Basic Qualifications
The successful Candidate will possess the following:
- BSEE or related discipline
- Significant experience with RF Payloads or Communications systems, design, development, analysis and test (minimum 10 years)
- Proven ability to develop and analyze technical requirements, perform trade studies, conduct major design reviews (e.g. PDR and/or CDR).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with customers, management, and peers
- Experience with RF design communication satellite tools.
- Excellent Microsoft office skills.
- Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel

Desired skills
- Masters or PhD degree, with emphasis on RF or Communications Engineering.
- Experience with leading multi-discipline teams (hardware/software) to produce advanced RF payloads and/or digital systems.
- Experience with high profile briefings to internal executives and customers
- Experience in managing subcontractors for hardware deliveries
