This position will support the Cybersecurity/Information Assurance mission for the Rotary & Mission Systems (RMS) products. The ability to work independently without much peer guidance, strong communication skills and ability to communicate on all levels both orally and in writing. Responsibilities for the selected candidate will include
•Provide System Security Engineering, Cybersecurity, and Information Assurance support to configure and/or validate secure systems and test products and systems to detect and report security weakness in Lockheed Martin systems.
•Perform or evaluate vulnerability scans on systems utilizing approved network scanning tools and appropriate Government provided software and scanning tools.
•Perform assessment and authorization activities with various government authorities and security assessors to obtain and maintain Authorization to Operate (ATO)
•Provide system integration and coordination between Training Systems product teams regarding Security Engineering and Information Assurance functions.
•Participate in assessments of security engineering designs and implementation in all aspects of Security Engineering and Information Assurance.
•Assess and mitigate system security threats/risks throughout the program life cycle; verify security requirements; and support secure systems operations and maintenance.
This position will require U.S. citizenship and ability to get a DoD Secret Security clearance.

Basic Qualifications
•Experience with Secure Configuration/Hardening of DoD Information Systems
•Knowledge of the Systems Engineering Life Cycle
•Experience working with System Administrators and/or System Integrator applying software patches / DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides to DoD Information systems (i.e., IAVMs)
•Experience with or knowledge of the NIST SP 800-53 Risk Management Framework (RMF) and DoD RMF process for Assessment and Authorization.
•Experience with Windows Server 2012 and 2016 administration, Windows 7 and Windows 10 desktop operating systems.

Desired skills
•Experience or familiarity with VMware tools, RedHat Linux
•Experience with McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator
•CISSP, Security Plus or equivalent security certification or the pursuit thereof.
•Knowledge of DBMS and SQL (i.e. Oracle Database, MySQL)
•Experience with Program Protection methodologies to which might include Software Assurance (SWA) and Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM)
