Grey Seal is developing mission solutions in support of a large system deployment. The system involves knowledge of mission planning, command and control, Software Defined Radio (SDR), and large antennas. The candidate will work in an agile scrum development environment to design and develop technically complex systems and mentor less senior team members. Tasks include defining sub-system architecture, performing detailed design, generating design documentation, and modeling.

Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Basic Qualifications
Minimum fifteen (15) yaers of full-time professional experience in Software Engineering supporting the Department of Defense in program development, modeling, and/or simulation if the Cadndiate has a Bachelor's degree; or
Minimum ten (10) yaers of full-time professional experience in Software Engineering supporting the Department of Defense in program development, modeling, and/or simulation if the Cadndiate has a Masters' degree; or
Minimum eight (8) yaers of full-time professional experience in Software Engineering supporting the Department of Defense in program development, modeling, and/or simulation if the Cadndiate has a Ph.D degree;

Five (5) years of experience directly in support of the large and complex system development efforts.
Three (3) years of demonstrated proficieny in software development using at least two (2) of the following: Windows, various Linux distributions (e.g. Red Hat), embedded systems (e.g. Ateml/Rabbit processors), C/C++ and Java programming languages, or Field-Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) design/layout and programming (e.g. Xilinx, Altera, Actel).

- Experience on a development team using C/C++ or another object oriented development language
- Effective oral and written communication skills and
an ability to work effectively in a rapid paced, team
environment
- Strong analysis and mathematical skills
- Experience working in an Agile development
environment
- Linux operating system experience
- Modeling and simulation experience
- Hardware test and integration experience
- Experience with embedded firmware development
- Experience with GP GPU
- Experience with Cyber Applications development
- Current TS/SCI
