Experienced International Trade Compliance professional to support export/ import activities at the Training and Logistics Solutions line of business. Function as a professional authority and consultant, providing expert analysis of governmental export/import regulations, laws and requirements and interpretation of their interrelationships with specific and general activities. Responsible for the preparation, implementation and modification of export/ import license applications, technical assistance agreements, manufacturing license agreements to support program execution and new business opportunities. Provide guidance and ensure compliance with exemption and exception usage, terms and conditions of approved export authorizations and research/interpret complex US Government regulations such as the ITAR and EAR. Proactively collaborate and partner with the various F-35 program personnel to define licensing requirements and prepare license applications as well as proviso reconsiderations in compliance with the ITAR and EAR. Review and process employee international travel; process foreign persons visit requests; review Proprietary Information Agreements, procurement requests and shipping requests; support development and implementation of export/import policies and procedures; perform product jurisdiction and classification analyses to determine regulatory authority and review all export shipments for compliance with authorizations. Participate and support compliance plans and projects, export and import tool enhancements and process improvements. Conduct export/import compliance training, including limitations and provisos on export authorizations for the F-35 program and general employee population. Support the conduct of compliance self-assessments and investigations into potential export/import issues.

Basic Qualifications
Detailed knowledge of the ITAR and EAR regulations. Knowledge of export/import processes. Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills; ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders; must be able to enforce compliance with export/import laws and regulations. Flexible team player with ability to multi-task and work independently with demonstrated attention to detail. Must have the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.

Desired skills
Familiarity with Government contracting practices are plus. Background in engineering or experience with product classifications and Export Control Reform are highly desired.
