This Cyber Security System Engineering position will support multiple programs in the Integrated Warfare Systems & Sensors (IWSS) Line of Business (LOB).

Assignments will include the development of element and component level requirements, performing requirement analysis (hardware and/or software), and developing design documentation, and supporting integration and test of Cyber Security capabilities as part of the Computing Infrastructure product. May also include evaluating infrastructure design in the area of Cyber Security, and supporting Certification of such systems. Position requires both demonstrated sustained technical leadership leading engineering teams and proven hands on experience in computing and network infrastructure components and technologies.

Specific responsibilities include:
- Knowledge of Systems Engineering process.
- Demonstrated accomplishments and career growth in the area of
computers, networks, and infrastructure.
- Proven experience writing technical memos and trade studies.
- Evaluating Linux and Windows computing platform devices, network
designs and devices for IA vulnerabilities
- Completing IA documentation and CDRLs (DIACAP/RMF)
- Report out to program and functional leadership
- May include travel to various sites to support installations, testing,
and meetings (CSEDS, NSWC, Ship Yards) up to 20% of the time
- May include testing at Lockheed Martin sites and CSEDS including
nights and weekends.

Position requires candidate be able to pass Security+ or CISSP certification within 9 months of hiring date. A thorough understanding of the CISSP domains is required. Cisco, Linux and Windows certification is desired.

Basic Qualifications
- BS or BA in a technical field
- Core understanding of security concepts as it relates to the CISSP certification
- Expertise in securing at least one of the following: Linux, Windows, or Cisco.
- Proven experience writing technical memos and trade studies
- Experience Cisco enterprise routers, switches, and firewalls, Linux servers and Windows
- Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Security clearance

Desired skills
-Security+ or CISSP certification

- IA tools (ACAS, SCAP, SCC, eMass, STIG Viewer)
- Requirements Analysis
- DOORS
- SysML
- Other system engineering practices
- Demonstrated ability to communicate issues, including corrective action plans, to Sr Functional Management (Sr/Director) and Program Managers.
- Proven outstanding communication skills (e.g., program review presentations, Sr. Leadership corrective action plans)
- Experience in COTS based infrastructure systems from requirements to design to integration to sell off
