Job Description :
Assist supported government customer in their Central Issue Facility with processing all designated personnel by sizing, inputting, and ordering their Special Equipment Advanced Requirements (SPEAR) equipment.
Process and validate all SPEAR requests for the supported organization.
Assist with establishing baseline stocks on site, of common size SPEAR equipment for immediate issue to processing personnel once their personal data is inputted.
Receive all inbound SPEAR GFP equipment for assigned organization. Inventory, temporarily store, secure, issue, and input completed transactions on all received SPEAR equipment.
Assist government customer with direct exchange for any un-serviceable SPEAR equipment turned in by a Soldier. Perform a bi-monthly exchange of unserviceable equipment for serviceable between the forward site and the main SPEAR Center, or as directed by the customer.
Responsible for the issue and receipt of equipment to assigned personnel. To include proper sizing and fit of specialized equipment.
Provide logistical and automation support using PBUSE and other automation software to control the efficient flow of property between point of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements.
Must be able to develop solutions to a variety of logistical and acquisition problems which occur within the Property Book Office section.
Maintain hand receipt ensuring proper documentation of property, changes to primary hand receipt, turn-in of inoperable or obsolete equipment, and cataloging and integration of new equipment.
Perform routine preventative maintenance checks and services and repair of equipment and supplies up to the organizational level in accordance with appropriate technical manuals or manufactures instructions.
Paperwork preparation for equipment turn-ins and lateral transfers.
Basic knowledge of standard Army supply operating procedures.
Assist with the documenting and accountability of customer owned equipment and supplies through the conduct of periodic inventories, hand receipt holder maintenance, issue, receipt, and disposal of said property.
Serve as sub-hand receipt holder in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation.
Personnel shall be capable of lifting weights of up to 40 pounds and carrying the weight for a distance of up to 30 feet unassisted. Heavy exertion, kneeling, crouching, stooping, and walking may be frequent and is required in the performance of this position.
May require infrequent travel up to two weeks at a time within the continental U.S.

Basic Qualifications
Must be familiar familiar with Army regulations and Department of the Army Pamphlets as they pertain to logistics and supply accountability.
Must be willing to take responsibility for the management of inventory scheduling for organizational hand-receipt holders.
Must have experience in requisition tracking status from initiation to delivery.
Must have a comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
Must have a final Top Secret clearance, eligible for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information
