Environmental Health & Safety Engineer Seniorr
Manages air quality, hazardous materials permits, plans and reports. Develops environmental programs in accordance with governmental requirements. Monitors air pollution activities, compliance and auditing efforts. Develops environmental studies, reports and permit applications. Reviews and analyzes environmental documents issued by the federal EPA, state and local regulatory agencies. Evaluates environmental impact of air programs on company operations and developing compliance strategies and requirements. Performs environmental impact analysis and risk assessment. Performs sampling, monitoring and data input. Performs environmental management system (EMS) implementation per ISO 14001 standard. Occasional travel may be required.
Title V permit and air quality compliance experience, reporting and permitting; hazardous materials management and compliance.
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience.
Experience with California environmental regulations
(CARB and AQMD) and ISO 14001 standard.
