The U.S. Army Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI), has a requirement to procure Performance Based Logistics (PBL) for sustainment, operations and support of Army Program-of-Record (POR) Training Aids, Devices, Simulators and Simulations (TADSS), Live-Fire Ranges, and Instrumentation Systems (ISs) in order to execute the Army's Training Support System (TSS). This opportunity is for a manager of a Supply Chain within a large repair Depot environment in support of sustainment for over 280,000 Army TADSS at over 500 sites worldwide on the Army TADSS Maintenance Program (ATMP).
This role is responsible for direct oversight of all Supply Chain Management activity at the ATMP depot, as well as ensuring necessary material control practices are in place and enforced.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to ensuring material is available when needed for repairs; managing purchasing functions and understanding the purchase requisition to purchase order process as well as how to ensure vendors receive payment; have a good understanding of quality inspection for both incoming material receiving and repair functions; develop material costs forecasts or standard cost lists; monitor supplier performance to assess ability to meet quality and delivery requirements; monitor forecasts and quotas to identify changes or to determine their effect on supply chain activities and provide inputs; implement new or improved supply chain processes; collaborate with other departments, such as procurement, engineering, and quality assurance, to identify or qualify new suppliers; develop or implement procedures or systems to evaluate or select suppliers; analyze information about supplier performance or procurement program success; document physical supply chain processes, such as workflows, cycle times, position responsibilities, or system flows, design or implement warehousing strategies for maintenance material and finished products; define performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of supply chain factors, such as product cost or quality; analyze inventories to determine how to increase inventory turns, reduce waste, or optimize customer service; manage activities related to strategic or tactical purchasing, material requirements planning, inventory control, warehousing, or receiving; evaluate and select information or other technology solutions to improve tracking and reporting of materials or products distribution, storage, or inventory; and review or update supply chain practices in accordance with new or changing environmental policies, standards, regulations, or laws.

Basic Qualifications
- 5-10 years supply chain management experience
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, and stockroom functions
- Solid understanding of government property management and scrap procedures
- Ability to build and manage a strong team

Desired skills
- Previous experience managing the supply chain of ARMY Program of Record (POR) TADSS
- Knowledge of MRP systems for production
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- A good understanding of spares purchasing and logistics modeling and analysis
- Knowledge of repair processes, quality control, costs, and maximizing distribution
