Job Description :
This position is located at Balad Air Base Balad.
Munitions Formal Training Instructor for Iraq F-16 program:

Duties: Primarily responsible are to develop and teach F-16 maintenance courses, produce training materials for a ground up training detachment at Balad Air Base, Iraq. Candidate will also be responsible for courseware edit and design for training Iraq Air Force F-16 maintenance technicians and assigned Lockheed Martin technicians as applicable.

Additional duties are to assist with preparation, coordinate and monitor all training requirements (customer and LM) for the Munitions duty section. Other responsibilities include maintaining training records and preparing reports and other related training products as assigned by the training lead. If not involved in training activities, may be assigned to assist with normal Munitions activities to meet mission requirements.

The first several months of this assignment will consist of set-up; to include but not limited to light to medium construction activities such as assembling warehouse shelving and furniture in all areas of the maintenance complex. Candidates must be willing and able to participate in all set-up activities, assist with receiving and storing supplies and support equipment. The site will still be under construction at the time of the first arrivals. Environmental/weather conditions can be extreme during different seasons. Site is a secure compound which team members will be confined to. Flexibility, a positive attitude and excellent people skills are a must.

Basic Qualifications
•At least 4 years current F-16 fighter aircraft maintenance experience
•USAF 7 level or equivalent in munitions maintenance specialty
•At least 2 years prior US Air Force-style training experience
•Knowledge/experience with assembling, maintaining, storing, delivering and inventory management of nonnuclear munitions and solid propellants.
•Knowledge/experience with inspecting, assembling, maintaining, inventory management, and modernizing mechanical, electrical, electronic, and high explosive components of weapons and warheads, air launched missiles and associated test equipment.
•Ability to read and follow Plan of Instruction (POI) to conduct training
•Knowledge of Instructional Systems Design (ISD) process
•Ability to design and edit established courseware
•Experience performing classroom lecture / hands on training
•Must be experience user of multi-media equipment
•Must be proficient in Microsoft Office software products (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
•Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

•Previous experience working with foreign customers is preferred.
