Job Description :
This exempt position within Lockheed Martin Enterprise Business Services supports Space Systems Company’s Mission Solutions Services, located within the Washington Metropolitan Area. The position has multiple responsibilities to stretch across IT disciplines, however the primary focus of the position will be providing successful desktop and engineering workstation/tools support; desktop / engineering tools break/fix support, mobile computing, and supporting end user service requests.
Position is responsible for providing Local, Deskside IT support for desktop Clients and Users and Engineering systems/tools users; as well as support for the following: ITSM, SharePoint, iPhone, iPad, and tablet support for both classified and unclassified environments.

Responsibilities include:
• Desktop PC, Engineering Workstation, Laptop, and IOS device imaging and support
• Printers and other peripherals
• Networking devices and other infrastructure components
• Software installs and IOS app downloads
• Proposal Center support
• Remote connectivity support

Ability to obtain a DoD security clearance, at a Secret or higher level is required for this position, ultimately a Top Secret Clearance will be needed.

This facility requires US citizenship.

Basic Qualifications
• Desktop support experience with the Windows OS (Windows 7 and Windows 8).
• Demonstrated effective teaming skills.
• Demonstrated solid analytical approach to problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule as needed and support 24/7 on call schedule.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office 2007 and 2010 suites, including Microsoft Outlook (2003 – 2010).
• Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Coursework and/or relevant experience with multiple IT disciplines to include: desktop hardware/software, mobile technologies, VPN solutions, software distribution tools such as SCCM; CM2012, networking fundamentals using TCP/IP and 802.11
• Outstanding customer service skills and commitment to customer service
• Experience Managing IT Projects
• Security+ Certification
• Security Application Support
• Classified Operations Support
• Ability to obtain a DoD clearance at a minimum level of Secret

Desired skills
• Significant experience working in and supporting DOD classified environments.
• Familiarity with Lockheed Martin and Department of Defense policies and procedures.
• Experience supporting Engineering Tools applications.
• Familiarity with server architecture and administration.
• Experience in IT customer service environment using Remedy ITSM.
