Job Description :
This position is in Balad Air Base, Iraq

Will develop and recommend local engine management policies and procedures In Accordance With applicable Technical Order and local operating Instructions. Serve as the Stock Record Account Number Engine Manager. Track and develop time change requirements on all tracked parts and drivers in order to develop the Cost Analysis Improvement Group budget forecasting; report receipt, shipment status, and maintenance actions for assigned engines; maintain propulsion records to include responsibility for the accuracy of the record data base. Accurately maintain input information and ensure it is processed within the next working day after occurrence; Process engine download data from supplied software concerning engine hour recording and time, temperature, cycle recording, I.E. Turbine Engine Monitoring Systems or Comprehensive Engine Trending and Diagnostics Systems. Serve as the Propulsion Systems Time Compliance Technical Order/Life Limit Monitor by monitoring and reporting status of TCTOs and life limited parts related to aircraft engines, Auxiliary Power Units, or engine support equipment; provide engine TCTO status and requirements to the Plans and Scheduling element and outside agencies; ensure Quarterly SRAN TCTO reconciliation reports are forwarded to appropriate agency. Assist maintenance analysis function in the maintenance of data program/data bases specific to propulsion equipment functions, engine or equipment operational historical records, or work order generation data. Prepare effective training plans to maximize training. Utilize telephone and e-mail to contact regional, district, or field employees engaged in different functions, missions, and work other than production. Perform other related duties as assigned.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS/INFO: Candidate must be a high school graduate or have completed an equivalent program. Candidate must have held a USAF skill level 7 (or equivalent) in his career field. Candidate must have at least 4 years’ experience with F-16 engine maintenance activities. Progressive and documented experience in the fighter aircraft maintenance environment. Documented qualifications in related maintenance fields. Must have strong communications and interpersonal skills. Must read, write and speak English fluently. Must have or be able to rapidly secure a DOD secret clearance. Regularly required to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, perform repetitive movements, and perform work from ground level to overhead. This position requires frequent standing for long periods, walking, stooping, kneeling, squatting, crawling, and twisting. Assignment location is in Iraq.

Site set-up activities will include but are not limited to light to medium construction activities such as assembling warehouse shelving and furniture in all areas of the maintenance complex. Candidates must be willing and able to participate in all set-up activities, assist with receiving and storing supplies and support equipment. The site will still be under construction at the time of the first arrivals. Environmental/weather conditions can be extreme during different seasons. Site is a secure compound which team members will be confined to. Flexibility, a positive attitude and excellent people skills are a must.

Basic Qualifications
F-16 Engine Management Systems Data Base Monitor

Desired skills
USAF 7 level or equivalent

Previous experience setting up maintenance work areas

A strong understanding of the maintenance process

Have a working knowledge of F-16 Engine Management Systems Data Base Monitor

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Access)

Ability to speak/communicate in Arabic
