Amazing opportunity to be the Social Media champion at a Fortune 100 company with more than 1.5 million fans and followers! Reporting to the Senior Manager of Digital Marketing Communications, the Social Media Manager leads development and implementation of social media strategy, advertising, policy, governance and training across the corporation. The Social Media Manager maintains corporate-level editorial content calendar in collaboration with social practitioners from four different Business Areas as well as Lockheed Martin International. She/He develops and implements corporate-level social media campaigns and initiatives; oversees social advertising strategy, budgeting and day-to-day operations; tracks and report metrics for owned, earned and paid social content. The Social Media Manager also works closely with Employee Communications to manage the corporation’s recently launched brand ambassador initiative.

Responsibilities Include:
- Develop strategy and tactics that increase engagement across all social channels.
- Daily management of corporate social channels with focus on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram.
- Work collaboratively as the social media team leader among a group of 15+ social practitioners across Lockheed Martin’s four Business Areas and International.
- Identify, track and build relationships with online communities and industry influencers.
- Schedule, distribute, amplify, monitor, listen and analyze social media engagement using third-party software tools.
- Manage social advertising budget and operations on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
- Manage relationships account reps from Twitter, Facebook & LinkedIn to ensure best practices and ongoing education for the social media team.

Basic Qualifications
- 5-10 years of B2B or B2G marketing and/or public relations experience with some emphasis on digital.
- Experience creating and implementing strategic marketing communications plans.
- Exceptional project management skills with the ability to own processes from strategic vision to tactical execution.
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, particularly short-form and headlines.
- Demonstrated experience leading teams and/or large scale projects.
- Core understanding how to track, measure and report digital metrics.

Desired skills
- Solid understanding of digital marketing concepts such as content marketing, inbound marketing and thought leadership.
- Deep experience publishing social media content and managing social media channels.
- Expertise using digital marketing tools, examples include: Sprinklr, Spredfast, Percolate, NetBase, BrandWatch, Google Analytics, HubSpot and/or Adobe Experience Manager.
- Experience developing and managing digital advertising campaigns and budgets.
- Experience working with a branding and advertising agency.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire collaboration, read internal audiences, advise to stakeholders, manage expectations and earn internal buy-in.
- Strong sense of urgency, flexibility and the ability to multitask.
