Job Description :
This Enterprise Business Services (EBS) position supports the Space Systems Company (SSC) located at the Lockheed Martin Facilities in Huntsville, AL.
This position provides IT Windows/Linux/UNIX system administration services including server installation, integration and configuration of the system, as well as the creation and maintenance of Standard Operating Instructions (SOI's) and adherence to NISPOM requirements as a Systems Administrator for multiple programs.

This position requires the following abilities:
Candidate must be able to apply required security patches, provide “after hours” support, coordinate alert generation tool downtime for planned outages, determine root causes of problems and recommend strategies to prevent recurrences, document, install, configure, maintain, and upgrade system software and products on Space Systems Infrastructure. Candidate is also required to support shift work, after-hours or weekend support on occasion; participate in customer reviews requiring server impacts or temporary outages, participate in customer system stress tests, perform recovery and restoration of servers, perform system diagnostics, and troubleshoot problems.

Candidate must provide support for Disaster Recovery planning, testing and execution; will work closely with program to outline new hardware/software requirements, and provide day-to-day support of the environment, including:
- Windows server and workstation administration
- Linux server and workstation administration
- User account management
- Hardware and software vendor communication for maintenance/repair/upgrade
- Backup infrastructure management (hardware, software, tape management, etc.)
- Generate storage metrics for customer reports
- Security audit logging and system configuration documentation
- Software application installation
- Troubleshooting system issues

Basic Qualifications
•Active DoD Secret Clearance
•Current Security + or CISSP certification
•Demonstrate strong working knowledge of Linux/UNIX Server Administration (RH6.x, RH7.x; Solaris 10.x or Solaris 11.x)
•Demonstrated strong working knowledge of Windows operating systems to include: Windows 7, 10, Server 2008 and Server 2012
•Demonstrated strong working knowledge of UNIX/Linux and Windows Servers inclusive of system hardening, system patching, backup/restore, system imaging, log management, and experience upgrading server operating systems, tech refresh, imaging, patch management, configuration management, antivirus management, security certificate install and renewal
•Current working knowledge of National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM)
•Demonstrated strong working knowledge of Disaster Recovery
•Familiarization and working knowledge of related to LDAP/DNS/DHCP functions
•Experience with operating and maintaining existing hardware and software configurations
•Experience upgrading server operating systems, tech refresh, imaging, patch management, configuration management, antivirus management, security certificate install and renewal
•Experience performing technical troubleshooting experience: desktop and workstation hardware, as well as software
•Working knowledge of McAfee Anti-Virus and Symantec End Point Encryption
•Effective verbal and written communication skills
•Demonstrated ability to meet aggressive work project schedules
•Demonstrated experience leading projects associated with deploying IT products

Desired skills
•Storage Administration with NAS and SAN experience
•Knowledge of SGI DMF Storage Tier Virtualization
•Working knowledge of HP and Brocade FC switch technologies
•Familiarization with Cloud computing and distributed storage
•Experience creating and modifying Shell Scripts such as Perl, Bash, PowerShell, etc.
•Ability to create and maintain Kickstarts and Jumpstarts for compliant system deployment
•Familiarization and knowledge related to Virtualization (VMware or Hyper-V)
•Working knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements
