The candidate will work alongside the customer providing network engineering support. The Network Engineering Support comprises the full scope of work from solution analysis, technology development, engineering and manufacturing development, production and deployment, operations and support across the complete end-to-end system and across the complete life cycle, in support of projects and programs for ships, submarines, aircraft, unmanned systems and shore facilities.

Designs and plans network communications systems. Provides specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture. Provides specific detailed information for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements. Conducts testing of network design. Maintains technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, multiplexers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, etc. Evaluates and reports on new communications technologies to enhance capabilities of the network.

Basic Qualifications
Ten (10) years of practical experience in network design, integration, analysis, troubleshooting, documenting, and operation of computer equipment and network devices (router, switches, and encryption devices). Experience should be heavy in network analysis, network security certifications, and Modeling and Simulation.

Experience should include IA Development and Operational Test and Evaluation

Experience providing network security operations and enabling efforts by reviewing and analyzing national security policy and military strategy.

Experience analyzing trial data and/or metadata of current or proposed network defense methods, tools, successful intrusion kill chains and Computer Network Defense (CND) methods and tools.

Experience providing network threat analysis reports and briefs.

IA Training, Certification, Certification Maintenance, and continuing education necessary to meet Cyber Security Workforce (CSWF) requirements for a minimum of IAM and IAT Certification Level III
