The Computer Systems Security Analyst will support the JLCCTC program. Duties include design, configuration, installation, and test of Training Infrastructure IT systems. The selected candidate will be responsible for deriving system-level requirements from architectural guidelines and project objectives. She/he will also be responsible for developing detailed designs with supporting implementation, test and transition plans, and ushering proposed system changes through the Configuration Management process for successful implementation and transition to JLCCTC Locations. Position requires the ability to gain appropriate DOD clearances.

Provides security engineering designs and implementation in all aspects of Information Assurance and Information Security (InfoSec) Engineering. Assesses and mitigates system security threats/risks throughout the program life cycle; validates system security requirements definition and analysis; establishes system security designs; implements security designs in hardware, software, data, and procedures; verifies security requirements; performs system certification and accreditation planning and testing and liaison activities, and supports secure systems operations and maintenance. Responsible for supporting Information Assurance Program Manager (IAPM) and Information Systems Security Systems (ISSE) accreditation of classified and unclassified systems. Provides Support for implementation in all aspects of Information Assurance and Information Security (InfoSec) Engineering.

life cycle implements security designs in hardware, software, data, and procedures; performs system certification and accreditation testing and supports secure systems operations and maintenance.

Basic Qualifications
The selected candidate must be a collaborative team player, have strong technical writing and verbal communication skills, and understand the importance of risk Management and engineering within a process oriented environment.
The candidate must be able to solve complex issues pertaining to Security controls on operating systems operation with little supervision. Microsoft Operating systems, and Local and Group Policy and policy editor. The candidate must have or be able to obtain a DoD Secret level security clearance.

Experience and use of Software tools for cyber security is expected.
Understanding of the CISSP Core Body of Knowledge. Familiarity with systems: Unix/Linux, Windows OS (XP, 7, etc.) Networking: DNS, LDAP, LAN, WAN, VPN, TCP/IP, Active Directory. Familiarity with DIACAP and Risk Management Framework (RM) requirements.
Ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.
Ability to travel.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to thoroughly test patches on developmental systems.

Desired skills
Experience with VMware and HP server products, switch hardening. One of the following certifications: CompTIA Security+, Security Certified Network Professional (SCNP), Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC) or Certified Information Systems
Security Professional (CISSP). Working toward Associate Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) System Hardening, analysis, and Vulnerability Management Patching with limited supervision.

Familiarity with US Army constructive training, particularly JLCCTC, experience in development of end user operating manuals, and documentation, experience in training of end users in Operating System and SW application installation, and Information Assurance procedures and operations.
