A Systems Radar Design and Analysis Engineer is responsible for the development of Radio Frequency systems (radar related systems and subsystems) to include design, integration, test, and performance evaluation. This activity includes a requirement to coordinate vendors and other team members in development of either passive or active RF sensor systems for integration test and evaluation. Activities inherent in the design process include support of trade studies, presentations, proposals and related activities.

Candidate must have expertise in RF system performance analysis, system definition, requirements analysis, and flow down of systems requirements to testable modular hardware and software. Good hands-on hardware skills are desired. Excellent communication skills are beneficial.

Experience with military Anti-Radiation Homing (ARH) or passive RF electronic surveillance (ES) hardware is of considerable value. Experience in ES/ARH systems engineering, algorithm development, signal processing, simulation and analysis tools (MATLAB) is specifically desired. The capability to develop threat models is especially valuable. Experience with Simulink is desired. Candidates should have a strong fundamental understanding of radar systems and performance modeling.

Develop and modify existing radar signal processing algorithms to adapt an existing seeker to a new missile application. Requires analysis of existing seeker algorithms, trade studies, simulation and design of new algorithms to meet the new mission and new missile hardware. Use of missile 6DOF simulation and signal processing tools is required to optimize the performance of the new configuration and integrate the seeker into the new platform.

Missile Defense Experience

Interim Secret Clearance required prior to start
