LM RMS Manassas, Virginia facility is in search of experienced hands-on Systems Integration and Test Engineer/Software Developers to drive the integration of software solutions in an Agile like environment where software development is predominately in JAVA with portions of the signal processing algorithms in compiled MATLAB and containerized for deployment on high performance computing platforms.

The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting the effort to implement, test and analyze solutions for Acoustic Intelligence programs. Additionally, the position requires software development (Java) and experience with wrappers and container technology for MatLab-compiled algorithms. As a member of the team, the candidate will need to develop code as required, integrate code from a variety of sources, and determine root cause of integration problems that could include developing code patches with source code updates for incorporating fixes.

Additional responsibilities include:
- Work closely with the Systems Engineering, SW, HW, Subject Matter Experts, and Program Technical leadership to plan and implement the test strategy
- Plan and conduct on-site and off-site Integration and Test events
- Develop String, Subsystem and System Integration Plans, and Performance Verification tests per requirements/features.
- Lead efforts to identify, prioritize, debug and fix all applicable system defects prior to product delivery.
- Collaborate with customer representatives as needed.
- Apply latest technological advances to ensure efficiency of the integration and test program (automated test tools, desktop testing, Agile development and test)
- Use of configuration management skills for products such as system software environment, test procedures and results, and defect documentation.
- Track and report technical progress and status to integration plans, including metrics to determine productivity and basis for updating estimates to complete or developing estimates when requested for upgrades or engineering changes.

Basic Qualifications
- Experience with Agile Frameworks; supporting a variety of programs of varying sizes and complexity
- Strong System Integration skills; including OS and SW troubleshooting, and problem resolution
- Java programing skills
- Planning, requirements analysis and decomposition, integration, test and overall system life cycle
- SW development experience including requirements analysis, design, and development, unit testing, verification, integration, revision control, and problem analysis & error correction with issue tracking and reporting
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong organization and estimation skills

Desired skills
- Experience with High Performance Computing environments; e.g. HADOOP, Apache SPARK is a plus
- Experience with container technologies is a plus
- MATLAB scripting skills are a plus
- Sonar Experience
- Acoustic Signal Processing
- Customer Relationship Management
