Job Description :
Quality Assurance Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) Inspector for Iraq F-16 program
This position is part of the team supporting F-16 aircraft maintenance at Balad Air Base Iraq.
Requires the ability to evaluate process compliance, write/review Corrective Action/Preventative Action (CA/PA) reports, perform root cause analysis and validate quality processes, responses, and plans.
Requires experience in inspection of aircraft ground handling/servicing; component removal/replacement; scheduled and unscheduled maintenance; Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTO) execution.
Requires experience in inspection of Aerospace Ground equipment AGE/GSE; Hazardous Waste Management programs; tool & FOD industry standards; equipment calibration procedures; general security procedures.
Requires ability to identify and understand non-conformities as they relate to munitions inspections, procedural breakdowns, and/or program (process) audits.
Requires ability to conduct incident and/or mishap investigation audits, prepare quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information, and trends including failed process, recalls, corrective actions, and validations.
Candidates must be willing and able to participate in all set-up activities, assist with receiving and storing supplies and support equipment.
Environmental/weather conditions can be extreme during different seasons.
The site is a secure compound that team members are confined to. Flexibility, a positive attitude and excellent people skills are necessary.
Must have strong communications and interpersonal skills.
Will work with all members of the team to resolve customer concerns, questions, and problems
Must be willing to provide on the job training to Iraqi Technicians
Must have willingness to flex to a rapid changing environment
Must be able to travel within the Gulf Cooperation Council region

Basic Qualifications
USAF 7 level or equivalent in aircraft maintenance specialty.
Must have at least 6 years Aerospace Ground Equipment experience.
Prior QA or USAF IG inspector experience.

Desired skills
Must understand USAF AFI 21-101, USAF Technical Orders and be able to quickly assimilate to operating instructions
Experience in USAF Maintenance Standardization Evaluation Program (MSEP) processes and knowledge of operating associated data base
Experience in a quality assurance. Ability to identify and understand non-conformities, as they relate to safety-of-flight or operation inspections, procedural breakdowns, and/or program (process) audits.
Ability to evaluate process compliance, write/review Corrective Action/Preventative Action (CAPA) reports, perform root cause analysis and validate quality processes, responses, and plans.
Possess effective communication skills for coordinating with Aircraft Managers/Supervisors, Field Service Reps, System Engineers, Maintenance Logistics Support Managers, and customer COR and maintainers regarding quality issues, Instrumentation System Integration, Deficiency Analysis/Reporting, customer complaints, and other issues related to higher quality as they occur.
Ability to read/interpret engineering drawings/instructions; system schematics/blueprints; and technical policy/maintenance instructions. Capable of conducting teleconference and/or briefing (presentation) to management/customer Verbal and written communications and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office software products (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Access Database)
Be able to use web based programs
Broad knowledge/experience of flight line and back shop maintenance.
Knowledge/experience with developing reports and analysis of Quality Assurance inspection data
Previous experience working with international customers/partners is desired
Must be a US Citizen.
Must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance.
Must have a valid US driver's license.
