Project Specialist Associate for test planning and documentation projects for Ship Integration and Test (SI&T) contracts. The Project Specialist Associate will support the Project Lead Engineer by coordinating test documentation tasking from NAVSEA, PEO IWS, and MDA representatives.

- Coordinate and participate in preparation and delivery of AEGIS Master Test Plans (MTP), Test Sequence Networks (TSN), Ship Test Procedures (TP), and ship Combat System technical documentation (e.g. CSOSS, PMS, technical manuals)
- Coordinate resourcing and scheduling of test procedure validation events at land-based or waterfront sites.
- Coordinate test procedure development efforts across Ship Integration and Test contracts.
- Coordinate customer interactions at technical reviews.
- Participate in preparation and review of test procedures for SI&T contracts.

Position requires frequent interaction with PEO IWS, NSWC-DD, NSWC-PHD, USN AEGIS TechRep, AEGIS New Construction shipyards, and Land Based Test Sites (LBTS).

Position requires close interaction with LM test engineering, Production programs, Program Management, and LM AEGIS Test Teams.

Position requires occasional travel to SI&T locations in Bath, ME; Washington, DC; Norfolk, VA; Pascagoula, MS; San Diego, CA; Port Hueneme, CA, and between LM campuses in the Southern NJ area.

Basic Qualifications
Strong technical writing background.
Proficiency with MS Office tools.
Maintain US-SECRET Clearance

Desired skills
- Familiarity with the operation of AEGIS Combat System and BMD systems
- Familiarity with AEGIS combat system test procedures, combat system testing at land based test sites and/or shipboard.
- Ability/familiarity to comprehend detailed test schedules in Microsoft Project or similarly formatted tools such as Test Execution Manager (TEM).
- Ability to comprehend combat system drawings to include interface drawings and cable block diagrams.
-Familiarity with Combat System Alignment, and adaptation data processes and tools.
- Familiarity with the latest applicable Military Specifications for electrical and optical cable, connector, backshell, and system design, integration, and integrity testing.
- Knowledge of Military Specifications and Standards related to bonding and grounding of equipment on Navy Ships, MIL-STD-1310, MIL –STD-1399, and MIL-STD-901D (shock).
- Knowledge of Military Specifications and Standards related to ship cooling systems and components.
- Prior operational Navy experience in the AEGIS fleet.
- Prior experience with land based test sites.
- Prior experience with Navy Combat System test/technical documentation.
- Prior experience briefing Government customers.
