Job Description :
This Lockheed Martin position supports the Enterprise Network Operations Center (NOC) Operations Team, within the Systems Operations & Infrastructure Center of Excellence (COE). The NOC is the single point of focus for all business operational services, improving IT business performance through global situational awareness, proactive monitoring, advanced diagnostics and predictive analysis, and providing outstanding responsiveness combined with excellent customer support in the delivery of Lockheed Martin’s IT Infrastructure and Services.

This Network Data Analyst position will support the Network Telecommunications Integration NOC Team with specific focus to the following:
• Monitors Network/Telecomm infrastructure utilized by Lockheed Martin Customers
• Provides first-level trouble-shooting, verification, resolution and/or timely notification of system-generated alerts and coordination/closure of incident tickets
• Reviews system and performance data from multiple sources to analyze anomalies and variances from normal thresholds taking appropriate action
• Participates in Service Alert Notifications process and the TAC line support
• Monitors Dashboards and portals for triggered alerts
• Observes equipment and control panels for operator messages or error indicators taking appropriate action
• Sets up and runs diagnostic tests and reacts appropriately to the messages and reports errors or machine malfunctions as required
• Ensures conformance with Standard Operating Instructions (SOIs), established processes, and workflow in an integrated team environment.
• Responsible for communicating all business activities in an effective and timely manner to management and for maintaining professional conduct consistent with company policy and procedures.

Basic Qualifications
• General understanding of networking concepts (ex. Ping, trace route)
• Experience with Cisco switches, routers and wireless access points
• Demonstrated ability and effectiveness to working off hours
• Demonstrated experience and knowledge of the ITSM Incident Resolution and Priority Management processes, including escalations to support personnel and leadership
• Demonstrated experience and knowledge of the Service Alert Notifications processes, SharePoint and workflow

Desired skills
• Familiarity with Network Management applications
• Demonstrated experience with first-level trouble-shooting, verification, resolution and/or timely notification of system-generated alerts
• Working knowledge of DNS and DCHP (1 Year)
• VoIP experience
• CCNA, CCNP, CISSP certifications
• Knowledge of LAN/MAN/WAN environment
• Experience with VPN solutions
• Experience with networking; TCP/IP, IP (1 Year) packet structures, peer-to-peer networking, IP addressing and subnetting, routing tables, etc.
• Experience with Visio, AutoCAD, Cisco Prime
• Working knowledge of the major carrier WAN connectivity technology (1 Year)
• Exceptional Customer Relations skills
• Proven success working in a team environment
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Demonstrated ability to follow Standard Operating Instructions (SOIs) and established processes
• Ability to work non-standard shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to acquire and leverage IT domain knowledge
• Experience with firewalls
• Knowledge of DoD security standards, policies, and procedures
• Knowledge of Cisco Cat OS and IOS
• Some exposure to enterprise networking and fault isolation
• Demonstrated experience and knowledge of Dashboard, and monitoring alerts and triggers
• Applies discretion and judgment to complete assignments
• Applies technical principles, theories, and concepts to complete assignments
• Demonstrated experience performing analytics and review of data and statistical information
• Ability to obtain Secret clearance
