Job Description :
F-35 Mods & upgrade mod program/project manager, responsible for planning, guiding, facilitating and ensuring seamless transitions of the modification and upgrade efforts throughout the program life-cycle. Responsibilities include ensuring efforts are planned, baselined and executed in the time frame required to meet program milestones and customer needs, technical scope, cost, schedule and risk of projects (mods & upgrades) defined by contracts. Will work hands on with the various leadership, all F-35 Mods & Upgrades Project/Program Managers, Fleet Mods Project Managers /Engineers, Sustainment Supply Kit Managers, Control Account Managers, Business Management and Program Planning and Scheduling to ensure each program has an executable plan and work each individual plan through completion.
Ensures adherence to funding and schedule per the contract requirements, identifies program risks and issues and obtains solutions to mitigate, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications. Leads the preparation of technical product information to customers, including CDRLs, DD250 Verification, CLIN Closures, CPARs, etc.
Selected candidate will perform program/project management; will be responsible for resolution of technical, programmatic, business, and contracting risks and issues that can affect the basic configuration of the F-35 weapon system, establish or alter a fundamental ground rule for some aspect of a production or sustainment contract, or determine the work content or execution procedure in one of the current or planned Sustainment efforts.
Task assignments may arise from various sources, and the output from the projects worked by this individual will often include coordination with, and out briefs for, leaders. Candidate will coordinate with various functions on the team to develop integrated technical/project solutions to both tactical and strategic program risks and issues. Selected candidate may be assigned responsibility to develop a program plan for new scope, lead the proposal for that effort, and manage the execution of the task once authorized.

This position is expected to be located at our Product Support Integration Center located in North Fort Worth.

**Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.**

Basic Qualifications
-Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
-Experience with program management or mods and upgrades experience

Desired skills
Candidate should have experience with modification programs entailing activities in a geographically distributed locations.
Full lifecycle experience delivering multiple modifications of different aircraft configurations to achieve mission success milestones.
Hands on experience performing long term sustainment and upgrade programs on LM or aerospace/defense products for both domestic and international customers are a bonus.
Ability to operate autonomously with minimal direction from senior management.
Proven ability to drive issues to resolution, which may involve direct interaction with senior leadership within LM and the customer organizations.
Proven ability to attack issues that are outside of the individual's training or background.
Possess excellent customer relationship management skills to include outreach and communications experience.
Knowledge of JSF Program policies & processes.
Strong communication skills (written and oral), with a willingness to engage with subject matter experts in a variety of different functional organizations.
Must be a fast learner, and willing to operate in a fast-paced environment that may periodically include short-turn-around assignments and working irregular or weekend hours. Self-starter with demonstrated ability to solve complex problems, develop creative solutions, and complete complex tasks on a schedule with little oversight.
Knowledge and experience with program change/configuration management and associated change boards for processing change requests with retrofit implications.
Knowledge and experience with program change/configuration management and associated change boards for processing change requests with retrofit implications.
Experience with concurrency modifications and block upgrades for a multi-service program. Knowledge of JSF Program policies & processes and program contractual relationships desired.
Candidate must have experience in developing and executing program and project plans
Candidate will have knowledge of Fighter Aircraft Sustainment Programs and contracting.
Candidate must possess excellent customer relationship management skills and excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational skills and strong horizontal integration skills
