Are you seeking challenging and innovative work assignments? Do want to work with internationally recognized staff of PhDs, scientists and engineers? Here’s your chance to jump start your career development in our Engineering Leadership Development Program (ELDP) in the Missiles and Control (MFC) business area in Dallas, Texas. Throughout the 3 year duration of the program, Lockheed Martin develops its future leaders by providing them with the vital skills and opportunities that allows participants to develop their technical skills while gaining a broad picture of Lockheed Martin and MFC. Upon completion of ELDP, graduates will be placed in a permanent role where they can apply their experiences and continue to enhance their capabilities. Specific components of this rigorous program include:

• 3 to 4 hands-on rotational assignments through various programs, lines of business, and phases of the product life cycle development (each within a participant’s discipline and 9 to 12 months in duration)
o Relocation not required but may be arranged depending on participant’s engineering discipline and career goals
• Completion of Technical Development Curriculum (TDC) meetings and an annual group project
• Participation in multiple national professional and technical leadership development conferences
• On-going coaching and mentoring with MFC Directors and Chief Engineers
• Involvement in STEM initiatives, community service, and multiple outreach opportunities

MFC is Lockheed Martin’s lead business unit for research, development, and production of manned and unmanned ground-vehicle systems, electro-optical and smart munitions systems and is a pioneer in the field of versatile, high-performance missile and rocket technology.

Basic Qualifications
-Must be eligible to obtain a security clearance
-Minimum 3.2 cumulative GPA
-Bachelors and / or Master degree (December 2017/May2018 graduates) in an engineering or related discipline, such as:
 -Electrical Engineering
 -Mechanical Engineering
 -Computer Engineering
 -Software Engineering
 -Aerospace Engineering
 -Reliability Engineering
 -Safety Engineering
 -Industrial Engineering
 -Computer Science
 -Material Science
 -Human Factors
 -Logistics or Packaging Engineering
 -Manufacturing Technologies
-Technical skills related to discipline
