Job Description :
Designs manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining and material handling. Designs arrangement of machines within plant facilities to ensure most efficient and productive layout. Designs sequence of operations and specifies procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance. Adapts machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions. May incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan. Inspects performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency, and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality. Develops manufacturing processes that are applicable to statistical process control, and may develop those techniques. Provides guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques. Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations. Salary $51,000.00 to $68,000.00 depending upon skills and experience.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Master’s degree. Considered experienced, but still a learner.
- Experience or significant exposure to manufacturing concepts, planning work instructions, technical writing, tool concept, tool design, and/or tool make as well as tool family relationship and development.
- Experience or significant exposure in resolving engineering, planning, tooling, assembly, and fabrication problems
- Skills with MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Individual must be highly motivated, self-starting, and exhibit the ability/willingness to make decisions at the appropriate level while working well in a team environment and bringing assignments to closure.

Desired skills
- Experience or significant exposure to aerospace type manufacturing, assembly, and/or fabrication.
- Experience or significant exposure to Automated equipment.
- Experience or significant exposure with metrics and briefings
- Direct previous manufacturing engineering, production planning, corrective action, tool engineering, and affordability/production improvement experience is a strong plus
