Job Description :
Prior contracts experience is required and the successful candidate will primarily support Senior Contracts Manager (and the Contracts Negotiation Manager as necessary or in the absence of the Senior Contracts Manager) in the coordination, administration, negotiation and execution of contract deliverables and requirements. Assumes backup role during temporary absence of other Contracts team members. Candidate will be responsible for all aspects of contract administration, including reviewing contract modifications, data and other documentation, prepare contractual correspondence, refining and delivering contractual documents, and maintenance of project files in Lockheed’s SharePoint library. Reviews, conducts staff coordination as necessary, negotiates and delivery contract modifications and proposals. Conducts organization conflict of interest sweeps and serves as coordinator for the CLSS program. Inputs and coordinates Inter-Work Transfer Authorizations (IWTAs). Coordinates prior consent authorizations and flow down clauses for subcontracts. Develops, reviews, and updates policies, procedures and task instructions. Candidate will maintain various reports, conduct research and fact-finding to provide current contract status as needed. Candidate will also provide management information reports and studies for Sr. Leaders and Executives. May act as a central point of contact for contract administration support, and contract data systems technology.

Candidate must be a self-starter able to work in a team environment and provide contractual support and guidance to other assigned program personnel. Candidate must develop and maintain good working relationships, and be adept at dealing with customers, program team members, and industry peers, including upper management. Must be able to work effectively and independently in a dynamic multi-program environment. Must be flexible and able to establish priorities for multiple tasks. Candidate should display excellent problem solving, creativity in finding better ways to achieve goals, and a desire to assist in growing the business and gaining efficiencies to help improve ROS for SOF CLSS.

Basic Qualifications
- Contract negotiation and administration experience with DoD Contracts.

- Strong working knowledge of the FAR/DFAR.

- Excellent verbal and writing skills.

- Comprehensive understanding and experience with DoD Government contracts and business related education.

- MS computer skills (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook)

- Ability to complete tasks quickly and completely with minimal supervision.
