Job Description :
Candidate will join the Advanced Quality Technology team, and work closely with a team of design and manufacturing engineers to use identify continuous improvement opportunities, and implement solutions using advanced inspection technologies. Candidate will assist with the set-up, programming, implementation and validation of advanced/digital equipment to be used for product evaluation and/or acceptance.

Responsibilities include the development, modification, and control of quality processes, procedures for the equipment used for inspecting, testing and evaluating the accuracy of deliverable products.

Candidate must have an understanding of lean tools and techniques.

Basic Qualifications
-Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in technical discipline (e.g., engineering field) or equivalent discipline (e.g., math, physics, chemistry, etc.).

-Proven ability in lean and six-sigma quality engineering methodologies.
-Highly motivated with demonstrated ability to communicate, work effectively, and collaborate with other team members, as well as work independently with little guidance.
-Working knowledge of external quality standards such as ISO9001 and/or AS9100 Knowledge of Manufacturing/Quality processes and documentation
-Proven decision making ability.
-Ability to perform root cause analysis.
-Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
-Ability to multi-task, being thorough and detail oriented.
-Strong analytical skills with a strong task/assignment closure ethic.
-Proficient utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite of software tools, including Excel and Powerpoint
-Change agent mindset demonstrated through implemented improvements.
-Proven ability in creating clear presentations using Powerpoint

Desired skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- An understanding of electrical engineering designs and process specifications.
- Familiarity performing statically process control and reliability studies.
- Creo or equivalent CAD experience
- Quality Engineering experience
- Familiarity of metrology scanning solutions and Computed Tomography
- A general knowledge of additive manufacturing and machine shop practices.
- Ability to understand, instruct and resolve issues dealing with the PR/MRB Process.
- Ability to develop, create, update, and teach Command Media and processes used by Quality Engineers throughout LMSSC.
