Job Description :
The primary role will be supporting the Space System Cyber Center of Excellence Architecture Analytics and Intelligence organization assisting senior intelligence analysts and architects on programs. Successful candidates should have basic understanding of penetration testing on network, web application, wireless and user awareness testing. Analysis of previous security findings, re-testing and verification of security fixes, and vulnerability management/tracking will also be a main focus. Secondary role includes security operations, monitoring and incident response support. The position includes, but is not limited to: penetration testing, information security consulting, process development, and technical writing. Specific tasks include, but are not limited to the following:

- Information Gathering and system discovery
- Vulnerability analysis and exploitation
- Remediation recommendation and support
- Security assessment report generation including technical write-ups
- Security testing lab infrastructure installation, support, and administration
- SOC/SIC Implementations
- Training

Basic Qualifications
Acceptable degree programs will include Computer Science, Computer Engineering, EE - Basic ability to work in a complex system integration environment - Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts - Ability to obtain an 8570.1 certification - Understand system security engineering activities in support of software and system requirements, design, development, testing and sustainment - Ability to support the engineering staff. This position requires special access to support the program and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen

Desired skills
Degrees in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering are desirable with additional certifications showing hands on skills in Cyber Security.Basic vocational experience in computer science and cyber security. Ability to learn quickly and work well with senior architects and analysts. Must be a self starter and willing to learn concepts on their own.
