Job Description :
Mission analyses are performed at all levels of total system development to support concept development, design, fabrication, test, installation, and demonstration operations. The successful candidate will work closely with engineers, manufacturing, and technical management and will be responsible for providing performance predictions for next-generation payloads in support of architecture development of high-priority applications. The candidate will participate in early design efforts, trade studies, and technology maturation efforts through continuous updating of system performance predictions, and will create the necessary documentation to show development rigor to customers. Provides analysis that forms the basis of hardware design and integration and derivation of component- and system-level requirements grounded in system- and mission-level analysis, guides technical planning and scheduling, provides risk reduction, and works within cost and schedule constraints to provide unique solutions on strategic, fast-paced, next-generation programs. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic, fast-paced, innovative environment with engineers from various backgrounds and levels of experience and brings a working knowledge of flight programs and the ability to tailor flight processes to development efforts, with the long-term goal of providing risk mitigation for and quick insertion onto flight programs. Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills a must. Frequent customer interaction expected.

Basic Qualifications
- Experience conducting mission analysis for next-generation systems
- Experience solving systems engineering problems and providing unique solutions to programmatic challenges
- Experience in assuming responsibilities outside the scope of defined tasking
- Experience building positive customer relationships
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Project)
- Experience with model-based engineering practices and tools, including MATLAB, Python, Java, C++, or other coding languages
- Experience defining component-, subsystem-, and system-level requirements
- Experience working in multi-functional teams

Desired skills
- Experience with US government customer programs

- Demonstrated ability as a team player to build consensus among peers and build effective relationships with team members
- Effectively manage change
- Electrical, mechanical, RF engineering, or mathematics background
- Active SCI clearance
