Job Description :
Exciting opportunity to work on the IFG System Integration Laboratories (SIL) team, which is a part of the Labs and Technical Services (L&TS) organization. L&TS is responsible for developing, testing and maintaining aircraft simulation systems and subsystems utilized for aircraft capability integration and weapons systems development from concept design through production and delivery.

This position is for a Systems Engineering position assigned to the IFG program. The systems engineer will utilize standard systems engineering practices to design complex hardware and software systems. Responsibilities includes developing requirements and processes pertaining to the implementation of large scale simulation support, specialty systems supporting IFG development test and integration. The scope of activities may include requirements analysis, architecture and interface development, object oriented analysis & design (OOD), code & unit test, integration, support to formal test and delivery and participation in technical reviews and audits of products.

This position requires interaction, planning and coordination with multiple software development, aircraft engineering and data engineering/maintenance teams within the IFG program. Candidate will work with senior engineers and system engineers to provide documents to convey customer and supplier(s) requirement relationships.

Must be a US Citizen, this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline.

Desired skills
Demonstrated familiarity with Aircraft Avionics systems, Vehicle systems and/or the lab systems supporting their integration and test. Also demonstrated experience with Systems Engineering processes to include requirements development and verification, systems architecture, and conceptual design theories.
Experience developing system design/engineering documentation.
Experience with producing drawings and modification drawings in VISIO
Basic MS Office experience
A working knowledge of tools similar to a Requirements and Verification Traceability Matrix (RVTM)
Experience with Agile Software Development and/or SCRUM processes.
Experience the various tools used for agile development (VersionOne, Dimensions, etc).
Ability to work with functional experts and generate verification and validation plans.
