Job Description :
The candidate will work as a senior technical resource to design, develop, install, configure, debug/test, and maintain Lockheed Martin Intranet, including Corporate Internet Gateways and International Networks. The Candidate should be capable to lead the analysis of internal or external customers' needs, and determine equipment and software requirements for solutions to problems. The Candidate should be capable to develop customized solutions to resolve problems; establish/modify system configuration settings as specified; coordinate updates with the LMI technical user community; and verify hardware/software compatibility.

The applicant possesses extensive hands-on experience in routing protocols such as BGP, EIGRP and OSPF, Network products-Cisco routers, switches, multiplexers, firewalls, proxy servers, remote access and VPN servers. The applicant performs as a senior technical member of the WAN Service team, providing technical leadership and project management in support of enterprise network implementations and technology insertion.

Work location can be any Lockheed Martin location with EBS personnel.

Basic Qualifications
Cisco Certified Inter-networking Expert (CCIE) Certification, current or emeritus
Working knowledge of network architecture, engineering, design, implementation, and testing
Working knowledge of one or more programming languages
Working knowledge of one or more automation toolsets
Working knowledge of basic Linux system administration
Working knowledge of IPv6
Proven ability to communicate effectively with internal business partners
Proven ability to translate business requirements to technical requirements
Proven ability to communicate effectively with others across the IT Stack, internally and with external partners
Experience in multiple areas within the IT Stack is preferred
Dedicated life-long learner
Ability to self-direct and lead small collaboration teams
Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance

Desired skills
Advanced Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Information Technology or related field
Knowledge of Lockheed Martin policies and procedures
Demonstrated ability to work virtually, and communicate complex ideas using collaboration tools
Experience with Riverbed (OPNET) tools
Experience with Quality of Service
Experience with Multicast
Experience with other Network Management tools and applications (ex: Splunk, CA Performance Suite, CA Spectrum, MRTG/RRD, etc.)
Proficient with MS Office
Project Management skills
Strong understanding of operating systems, applications, networks, and moderate to high level software and hardware troubleshooting skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to document solutions and present ideas to cross-functional teams
Ability to conceptualize holistic application and networking problems relating to complex infrastructure and datacenter designs
