Job Description :
Sikorsky, A Lockheed Martin Company is looking for a high performance, goal oriented professional who will be responsible for the development of quality management programs and ensure compliance with (e.g. AS9100) requirements and procedures.
To assist Quality managers, staff, vendors/suppliers, customers, and partners with initiatives to reengineer processes and methods to ensure compliance to customer contractual requirements and continuous improvement initiatives in the areas of cost, efficiency, quality assurance, and customer satisfaction. Sikorsky Aircraft has over 700 suppliers contributing to its product line.
Successful candidate will play a key role in managing and developing business systems and initiatives associated with the Sikorsky Supplier Quality organization.
Duties will include but not be limited to;
•Managing supplier audit process and associated key business metrics.
•Developing/managing business processes to measure and improve supplier quality performance and update/improve departmental procedures as required.
•Conduct predictive and risk based analysis of supplier performance
•Conduct Relentless Root Cause and Corrective Action (RRCA) investigations
•Prepare and deliver executive level presentations associated with supplier quality status and initiatives

Basic Qualifications
Experience in Quality, Engineering, or related disciplines
Must be a self-starter with solid leadership ability and able to work with limited supervision while coordinating initiatives across multiple functional organizations
•Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Proficient with Microsoft office tools, including Microsoft access and project

Desired skills
•Six sigma experience or LEAN, knowledge of Lean Product Development (LPD) is preferred but not required
•Understanding of AS9100 and AS9102
•Knowledge of Sikorsky systems, engineering drawings, the Strategic Supplier Quality System (SSQS), and Sikorsky Aircraft manufacturing requirements is a plus
•Knowledge of 3D modeling such as computer aided three-dimensional Interactive application is a plus.
•Ability to adapt to changing environments while meeting customer requirements
•Must demonstrate an innate ability to adhere and communicate effectively to diverse groups, and multiple levels of leadership.
•Must have problem solving skills at a highly refined level
•Strong written, verbal communication and analytical skills required
•A team player that can work with multiple disciplines in multi-functional organizations
•Results focused with effective scheduling and organizational skills.
Some domestic and international travel may be required.
