Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is a recognized designer, developer and manufacturer of precision engagement aerospace and defense systems for the U.S. and allied militaries. This is Lockheed Martin’s lead business unit for research development and production of manned and unmanned ground-vehicle systems, electro-optical and smart munitions systems and is a pioneer in the field of versatile, high-performance missile and rocket technology.

This position will work in the Production, Planning and Control organization as an internal advisor for compliance issues. The position will collect and present data to support a position of compliance to MMAS DFAR. It will be responsible for representing PP&C during Command Media review board meetings and will travel and/or communicate with multiple stakeholders in multiple functions regarding compliance issues. This role will design and perform compliance risk assessment activity as it pertains to the MFC organization including: site assessments, Program Directive reviews, Command Media, Monthly Metric reporting, etc. Finally, this position will report risk conditions to upper management as well as review of corrective action plans and represent PP&C and provide guidance during internal and external compliance audits.

The Locale: Grand Prairie is part of the “Mid-Cities” region in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex which is in the North Central region of Texas. Grand Prairie is a suburb of both Dallas and Fort Worth. The region offers a great cost of living combined with a robust economy and a pleasant climate. This North Central region of Texas is a great place to live and to raise a family. The region is home to numerous colleges and universities to include University of Texas at Dallas, University of Texas at Arlington, University of North Texas, Southern Methodist University, Southern Methodist University, and Texas Woman's University. The Mid-Cities is the suburban region filling the thirty-mile span between Dallas and Fort Worth. These communities include the cities of Arlington, Irving, Grand Prairie, Grapevine, Southlake, Colleyville, HEB (Hurst, Euless and Bedford), NRH (North Richland Hills and Richland Hills), Haltom City, Watauga, and Keller, along with multiple other smaller towns such as Trophy Club and Roanoke and together represent more people than either Dallas or Fort Worth.

Basic Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work with multiple levels of Management, industry peers, a represented workforce and internal and external customers.
- Demonstrate proficient knowledge of computer systems, databases, and programs
- Ability to obtain a security clearance.
- Strategic thinker with lean manufacturing focus / (Greenbelt certified or equivalent)
- Demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving, and multitasking skills
- Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) extensive user experience or implementation
- Knowledge of Material Management and Accounting System (MMAS)

Desired skills
- Inventory Control and material handling knowledge
- Experience with material requirements and Dock / Receiving / Warehouse / Shipping areas.
- Black Belt trained / certified
- APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) certification
- Knowledge of industry wide best practices and processes for managing material flow throughout the entire production supply chain.
