Job Description :
We are seeking a highly-motivated, Sales, Account Manager for Sikorsky’s LifePort Inc. The Account Manager represents LifePort Inc. and its products in the worldwide marketplace. The selected individual will manage client/customer relationships with assigned accounts to assure continuing orders for products and services and identifies and develops new clients/customers through marketing efforts, tradeshows and worldwide travel for aircraft interior equipment installed in over 40 different aircraft models in both the fixed wing and rotary wing markets.

Duties and responsibilities include:
• Develops strategy for managing existing client/customer relationships with assigned accounts to assure growth in sales and customer satisfaction of those accounts.
• Researches sources and develops strategies to obtain new clients/customers. Includes attendance at tradeshows, use of Internet, rapid response to leads and referrals, and innovative approaches beyond these techniques.
• Travels to assigned account locations and new prospect sites throughout the world to secure orders. Obtains customer feedback that generates new product opportunities as well as follow-up to assure customer satisfaction. Visits to customer/client facilities may include demonstrating products and analyzing specific customer needs to ensure that engineering resources can be properly identified and allocated. Meetings and communications may be conducted via phone, Internet, etc. which may be substituted for efficiency reasons.
• Develops formal proposals including price quotes, credit terms & specifications, delivery schedules, regulatory requirements, etc. Serves as project manager to gather and supervise staff and resources required for analysis and preparation of prospects.
• Prepares reports of progress and develops forecasts of results for business planning purposes. Prepares expense reports and expense forecasts for accounting staff.
• Monitors progress of engineering and production activities after orders are received in order to maintain excellence in customer relations. Follow-up after installations are complete to assure long-term customer satisfaction.
• Participates in market research activities designed to generate growth opportunities for the company.
• Effectively manages revenue generation for assigned accounts and new accounts acquired.
• Complies with all training requirements, performance standards, and all company policies and procedures.
• Supports Continuous Improvement processes and initiatives for functional areas of responsibility.
• Demonstrates commitment to safety (ESH) goals and objectives including compliance with all applicable policies, procedures and training requirements.
• Ensures compliance with company’s policies, procedures, guidelines, standards, etc.
• Upholds company values, ethics, mission and vision.
• Completes special projects commensurate with position.

Basic Qualifications
• A minimum of 3-5 years years of professional sales experience, preferably in the aerospace industry.
• Possess advanced levels of verbal and communications skills.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• History of exercising discretion and independent judgment in business activities.
• Ability to grasp the concepts and schools of sales in corporate aviation.
• Ability to work alone or in a team environment.
• Experience in driving continuous improvement processes such as through ACE, Six Sigma, Green Belt, or higher certifications.
• Proficient in the MS products and familiar with MRP/ERP/SAP systems.
• Be able to adapt to an ever changing environment and motivate team to meet the challenges of today and tomorrow.

Must days and hours as required by the business needs and may require 30-50% travel.
