As a Payloads Engineering Leader, Lockheed Martin invites you to create “new realities,” enabling solutions that have never been seen before. You will lead multiple teams to successfully deliver complex payloads to our Military Support Programs (MSP) and will be responsible for; all aspects (Cost, schedule, technical) of development; project oversight of required internal and/or external efforts; integrating and testing each payload at the sub-system level, and providing post-delivery support to the next higher assembly integration and test. This challenging role will require a high level of business acumen to balance priorities, drive issue prevention/resolution, and clearly communicate status and needs to our customers/partners, and within the LM enterprise. Close coordination with the Payloads Chief Engineer is essential in ensuring our mission needs are fully reflected by our products. Basic Qualifications
• Active SBI clearance
• Engineering Degree (Electrical Preferred)
• Minimum 5yrs of demonstrated successful full spectrum leadership of a multi-disciplinary team of > 20 people with full leadership responsibility and accountability (Personnel management, Performance reviews, etc.)
• Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency within the RF electronics domain
• Demonstrated experience leading products from CDR to delivery
• Demonstrated experience leading anomaly resolution and driving issue closure for complex systems, including multiple configuration items integrating hardware and software
• Demonstrated success as a Control (cost) Account Manager (CAM) for >$50M effort
• Experience delivering hardware through one or more of SSCs Production Operations centers
• Demonstrated proficiency applying Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques and metrics
• Demonstrated product delivery experience for both internal and sub-contract efforts
• Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills (with Peers, subordinates, senior leadership, and customer)
• Demonstrated a consistent record of high performance as a senior leader with the ability to accept responsibility, exercise authority and be held accountable for assigned tasks

Desired skills
• Possess a working knowledge of engineering disciplines beyond RF and electronics which are required for producing space flight electronic assemblies (Thermal, Stress, Mechanical, Etc.)
• Demonstrated ability to drive attention to detail within the team
• Knowledge of SSC major functional organizations their initiatives and interactions
• Demonstrated ability to make balanced and timely decisions on imperfect information
• Military Support Programs (MSP) mission experience
