Job Description :
This position is on the Integrated Fighter Group (IFG) Ground Systems Software (GSS) team for an entry level systems administrator on the F-22 IMIS team which is responsible for the integration, installation, and troubleshooting of multiple software baselines for the maintenance of the F-22.

Candidate will perform software systems administration following appropriate program processes and procedures to include installation, setup, and configuration of Solaris Operating Systems, Oracle Databases for Lockheed Martin developed aircraft maintenance software. Position requires familiarity with system/software administration of complex software systems, integration, and support to formal test and delivery.

Candidate shall be able to participate in technical reviews and audits of software products. Position requires Security+ Certification. This position requires interaction, planning and coordination with multiple software development, aircraft engineering and data engineering/maintenance teams. Desired knowledge includes Solaris (UNIX) and/or script development and maintenance experience, a thorough understanding of Software lifecycles, familiarity with Configuration Management COTS tool methodologies, and relational Database (Oracle) knowledge.

Applicant selected will be required to meet Security+ Certification.

Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information before starting the position.

Must be a US Citizen. This position requires a DoD security clearance.

Basic Qualifications
IT background in Solaris (UNIX) and/or Linux and Windows.
Experience in administering software systems.
Experience with scripting languages such as Perl and Python.
Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other engineering/technical discipline.

Desired skills
Have good interpersonal skills and able to communicate accurately with internal and external teams.
Ability to obtain Security+ certification
The candidate should be able to adapt to a changing environment.
Familiarization with Agile Software Development and/or SCRUM processes.
Experience with loading and proper configuration of Windows and Solaris Operating Systems and Oracle databases.
Solaris and Oracle administration experience, such as patching.
Experience with security lockdown procedures for an Operating System. Security+ Certification.
Selected candidate must have excellent organizational and communication skills.
Worked on large, mature programs with both development and maintains efforts ongoing in parallel.
The ability to work in both team and independent settings.
Shell/Unix/Linux/Perl/Python experience.
Trusted Solaris experience.
