Job Description :
Contracts Negotiator for the fast-paced THAAD Program. The successful candidate will provide Contracts support by reviewing and interpreting contract requirements, contract change impacts, extending and administering IWTAs and requests for proposal / ROMs. The individual will be adept in understanding contract terms, articulating those positions to the business and ensuring the program teams are able to effectively understand the impacts of the agreements reached with the Customer. Overall responsibilities include:

Ensure contract responsibilities are compliant with LM Policies and Procedures and implementing business strategies for on-contract new business opportunities.

Manage, participate in and / or conduct proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.

Advise leadership and Program management of contractual rights, obligations and risks; compiles and analyzes data; and maintains historical contract information.

Basic Qualifications
Must have excellent interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skills with a proven ability to work with stakeholders across multiple Business Units

Experience in all aspects of the contract life cycle including contract administration, proposal preparation and close-out

Familiarity with the IWTA system and related policies and procedures

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Power Point)

Expertise in the LM Electronic Contracting Environment (ECE) is a must

Possess excellent written and oral communication skills and be a self-starter who requires minimal supervision

Must have a sound working knowledge of the FAR, DFARS, and other government acquisition regulations

Prior experience working in an IDIQ contract environment, including the administration of multiple task orders and delivery orders

Successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the ability to work independent of functional management while managing the successful completion of program requirements

Desired skills
Missile Defense Agency (MDA) or THAAD experience
Prior experience working with IDIQ Contracts and IWTAs

Able to manage and administer multiple task orders in a fast paced environment

Strong working knowledge of CPIF and CPFF contract types

Able to develop solutions to a variety of moderate and complex problems which may require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation

Experience working with virtual teams
