This position is at Balad, AB, Iraq

Training Branch Administrative Support Technician: Establish and maintain similar to USAF standards the various requirements and products to successfully train and assist Iraqi Air Force members and to assist with management of a large LM team. Develop and maintain schedules for students and instructors for academic classes in the Training building and practical (hands on) training in the work centers. Ensure all training accomplishments and events are entered appropriately in ILIAS. Be the Training Branch "subject matter expert" on ILIAS.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS/INFO: This position will also coordinate medical appointments and medical issues requiring off base treatment for the full LM population at Balad. Candidate must be a high school graduate or have completed an equivalent program. Candidate must be fully qualified in this career field. Candidate must have at least 4 years similar experience with documented qualifications. Must have strong communications and interpersonal skills. Must read, write and speak English fluently. Must have or be able to rapidly secure a DOD secret clearance. May be required to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, perform repetitive movements, and perform work from ground level to overhead.
This assignment may consist of site set-up activities in Iraq, to include but not limited to light to medium construction activities such as assembling shelving and furniture. Candidates must be willing and able to participate in all set-up activities and other duties as reasonably assigned. Environmental/weather conditions can be extreme during different seasons and physically challenging. Site is a secure compound which team members are confined to. Flexibility, a positive attitude and excellent people skills are a must.

Basic Qualifications
Minimum of 4 years prior experience in scheduling
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Access)

Desired skills
USAF 7 level or equivalent
Advanced Computer Skills including data base management
A strong understanding of training administration functions
Prior experience handling sensitive information
Experience working with international customers
High level organizational and communication skills
