Job Description :
This role is for a Program Planner supporting multiple programs with the SMD (Strategic Missile and Defense) Line of Business. The role will support the recently awarded LRSO (Long Range Stand Off) and WSIC (Weapon System Integration Contract) programs.

The selected candidate will interface with engineering, finance and business operations, and program management while collaborating with the entire planning team to translate authorized customer requirements into the performance measurement baseline. This individual will develop and maintain compliant Integrated Master Schedules which accurately and comprehensively validate contractual scope, work flow, and resources required to execute the program. The person will fully represent SSC for any schedule related items in meetings with MFC and with the Air Force customer

The Planner will help support the following areas of program planning:

1) Support development and maintenance the program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) including ensuring integration between the IMS and the Integrated Master Plan (IMP)
2) Maintain schedule integration between the IMS and the Program Summary Master Schedule and supplemental schedules
3) Perform critical path and schedule risk analyses as required
4) Provide planning support to CAMs as part of monthly F&BO earned value management rhythms. Ensure EVMS/IMS Integration.
5) Perform schedule integrity checks as required
6) Generate and deliver IMS reports and metrics as required
7) Present schedule related information to internal and external customers
8) Ensure compliance with LM Corporate Program Performance Management and Program Planning policies and practices.
9) Support DCMA surveillance reviews as required
10) Support follow on proposal activities
11) Perform Rolling Wave activities

Must be a self-starter and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Some travel will be required.

Basic Qualifications
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Project 2010 or 2013 scheduling tool
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective internal relationships
- Ability to perform typical schedule integrity checks and critical path analysis
- Experience with internal and external audits and reviews
- Experience working proposals as a program planner

Desired skills
- Knowledge and experience working in MS Project Server environment
- Familiarity with SSC Operations and SMD LOB
- Knowledge of SSC PPMD requirements document
- Experience with Margin and Float Management, Schedule Risk Assessments (Monte Carlo simulations)
- Experience working with resource loaded schedules
- Earned Value Management experience
