Job Description :
A high energy, proactive, independent and motivated candidate is needed to represent Operations on Commercial Program Platform Team.
The successful candidate will represent both Operations and Programs interests, and be responsible for leading and coordinating all Operations related elements for the Commerical Platform. This will include interfacing with all Sikorsky Product Centers to ensure proper assignment of staffing and leadership, development and deployment of viable production/operations plans, providing strong leadership as an Operations representative on all Change Board activity, working with suppliers to reduce risk and drive execution, and work closely with Finance, Quality, IT, DAP, Engineering, Supply Management, the Proposal Team and Scheduling to properly assess and allocate resources. The individual will lead a matrixed cross-functional, geographically dispersed team using all available virtual leadership skills and technology.. The leader will develop and/or deploy a standard set of Operations metrics, processes and tools to adequately track progress and performance. Individual will be expected to deploy a full range of continuous improvement initiatives.
The candidate will attend daily aircraft status meetings and, in that capacity, act as the Operations POC to the Programs Team. The candidate will also coordinate supply issues and act as a representative for the Supply Management organization. The role will also include responsibility for Operations representation for contractual modifications and proposals.
The position will also require occasional travel to Sikorsky Facilities in Coatesville, PA, and potentially suppliers (domestic and international).

Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree or Equivalent
- 4+ years’ experience in business and/or manufacturing environment depending on education
- Experience in successfully leading a diverse matrix team
- Able to travel to suppliers, Troy Aerostructures, Coatesville, PA and the Florida Assembly & Flight Operations Centers
- Ready for a highly visible execution based assignment
- Demonstrated results on complex leadership assignments
- Strong and effective leadership and interpersonal skills required
- Strong and effective oral communication and presentation skills required

Desired skills
Worked in 2 or more functions -Engineering, Operations, Finance, Programs, Quality, or Supply Chain
Manufacturing knowledge and experience desired
Continuous Improvement training/experience similar to 6 Sigma Certification and/or progress towards Practitioner would be beneficial
