Job Description :
Position is for On-Site Manufacturing Engineering representative
supporting P-3 Mid-Life Upgrade installation activities at Hellenic Aerospace Industry in Greece.

Length of assignment: 2 years

This position is responsible for the following:
Coordinate facility requirements, shop capabilities, Standard tool
cribs, standard part cribs, skill training, process / work flows.
Provide Liaison between installer and LM in regards to
manufacturing requirements & specifications. Interpretation of
Engineering and Manufacturing process specifications.
Work with modification installer to develop the step by step
work instructions. These work instructions must be developed in
concert with the LM drawings, paying close attention to LM
processes and requirements for control media and inspection
steps. Assist in the integration of depot maintenance & mid-life
upgrade tasks.

Review tooling tech data package with installer. Assist in
generating a plan for tool manufacture, choice of alternate
tooling concepts, modification to tool designs to accommodate
facility limitations, if any. Assist in approval of alternate
materials & components for local supply / manufacture if
necessary.

Must be knowledgeable of heritage manufacturing / tooling
systems, and with P-3 life extension installation programs or
depot maintenance. This includes an understanding of “Tooling
Masters” and “Interchangeability & Replaceability” (I&R)
requirements.

Coordinate all operations activities to ensure that the facility,
tools, planning and necessary artisan skill sets are in place and ready to commence the install activities. Will then serve as the
LM SME for manufacturing / tooling / planning elements.
Must be a US Citizen or authorized to work in the US
* Must possess or be able to obtain a passport and Greek
work visa.

Basic Qualifications
Project management or Manufacturing Engineering experience.

Experience with aircraft modification processes or tooling manufacturing.

Desired skills
* Intermediate User of MS Office applications
* Requires a working knowledge of Planning
procedures/processes and preparation/utilization of planning
documents.
* Engineering blueprint reading requirements, and a good knowledge of
blueprint drafting procedures
*CATIA/CAD experience
* Familiar with heavy structure and all areas of repairs on the P-
3 aircraft
Strong technical background in aircraft modification
P-3 Aircraft Structural Modification experience strongly desired.
Any level of proficiency in written and spoken Greek language
will be a plus.
