Job Description :
The country lead will assist the Director of Northern Europe International Business Development. The country lead will have responsibility for covering more than one Northern European countries; UK, Benelux, Nordic, and Switzerland. The country lead is responsible for customer relationship, develop customer profile in identifying their needs, requirements and values. The country lead develops strategy and engagement with customers at all levels to promote, market, and keep sold of all Aeronautics platforms. The country lead provides the knowledge resource for the country's political, military, and industrial profile, includes key decision makers and influencers. Responsible for leading internal LM teams in the creation of briefings, information responses and white papers that are used internally and externally to educate senior government and industry leaders. Serve as POC for regional visitors and ensure compliance with all BD processes, policies and procedures. Country lead works closely with the LM Corporate Strategy and Business Development and LM International to align capture and pursuit priorities across the corporation. This position will require International travel as well as some Domestic travel and the ability to obtain Top Secret Clearance with SAP/SAR/SCI accesses.

Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. This position requires a Final Secret Clearance to start.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required with 8+ years’ experience.
• Experience with USG foreign military sales contracting processes and acquisition strategies.
• Experience crafting presentations for senior management and customers.
• Experience working across organizational boundaries and jurisdictions and leading customer meetings and cross-discipline teams in development of customer solutions.

Desired skills
Knowledge of the European Military Planning and Budgeting process.
• Knowledge of the US military defense acquisition process.
• Familiarity with Lockheed Martin Aeronautics' product line.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to quickly grasp technology concepts and translate their value to customers.
• Ability to utilize personal skills to cope with conflict.
• Flexibility to quickly adapt to changing business environment and priorities.
