Job Description :
Lockheed Martin is seeking an Electrical, Electronic and Electro-mechanical (EEE) Components Engineer for a position in Grand Prairie, TX. The EEE Components Engineer will be responsible for physical properties analysis, processes and the lifecycle monitoring of EEE components from component fabrication to product used by our Customer. The candidate must be capable of handling several tasks at once and interface with Government Customer (in meetings and through presentations), manufacturers, and test houses. Candidate must be able to produce documents and drawings, process engineering requirements, handle issues relating to new component releases and qualification, manage component related failures analysis, handle component non-compliances, manage program prohibited items (such as pure tin), mitigate risks of procurement of counterfeit parts and utilize lifecycle management.

The Locale: Grand Prairie is part of the “Mid-Cities” region in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex which is in the North Central region of Texas. Grand Prairie is a suburb of both Dallas and Fort Worth. The region offers a great cost of living combined with a robust economy and a pleasant climate. The Mid-Cities is the suburban region filling the thirty-mile span between Dallas and Fort Worth. These communities include the cities of Arlington, Irving, Grand Prairie, Grapevine, Southlake, Colleyville, HEB (Hurst, Euless and Bedford), NRH (North Richland Hills and Richland Hills), Haltom City, Watauga, and Keller, along with multiple other smaller towns such as Trophy Club and Roanoke and together represent more people than either Dallas or Fort Worth.

Basic Qualifications
- Must have or must be able to obtain a security clearance.

- Candidate must have a Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline.

- The ideal candidate is a Material Science Engineer with electrical component experience or an Electrical Engineer with 5 years or more experience in Component Engineering.

- Must be proficient with computer tools such as MS Excel and Access.

- Candidate should have experience in electrical component manufacturing process and physical property analysis.

- This position requires periodic travel to both the customer and supplier locations.

Desired skills
- Experience in Components Engineering with broad knowledge of electronic components and devices.

- The ideal candidate has experience working electrical components on a Production Program.

- Experience in the disposition of Q-Notes.

- Candidate is Program Material Review Board-Engineering (MRBE) certified or can quickly obtain certification.

- Experience with Agile PLM release process, and with formal Configuration Board support.

- Experience working with Global Supply Chain, Quality and Manufacturing groups.

- Candidate should be comfortable interacting with Customer technical community in Skype meeting environment.

- Previous experience with obsolescence monitoring tools is a plus (i.e. QStar, Silicon Expert) as well as expertise in all component/COTS technologies. Six Sigma training a positive.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interface with managers, internal and external customers, peers, subordinates and the ability to work in a team oriented product development organization.
